Reader’s Question: I’ve heard about using Emperor’s Salt to treat diabetes. What can you tell me about this protocol?
Dr. Glenn Rothfeld: Diabetes has become a death sentence for millions of people. It’s an outright epidemic! But diabetes doesn’t have to be this way and neither do you just have to “live with it” – or “manage” it – for the rest of your life!
You can put diabetes behind you, permanently… thanks to a unique kind of ancient salt called “Emperor’s Salt.”
It got its name because it was used by a legendary emperor, who taught the Chinese about medicinal herbs over 3,000 years ago.
And while it is, technically, a salt, it’s one that comes from the root of an ancient Chinese herb.
Emperor’s Salt has been heralded for its ability to cleanse and purify. In fact, it’s been used to treat infections, cancer, liver problems, and heart failure.
But where it really shines is in the treatment of diabetes. Emperor’s Salt stimulates your body’s insulin receptors – the very thing responsible for controlling blood sugar – and it activates hormones that impact the amount of insulin released after eating.
In one study published in the journal Metabolism, Emperor’s Salt proved just as effective as the leading diabetes drug metformin, slashing diabetics’ blood sugar levels after a meal (the very time when blood sugar tends to spike) nearly in half!
In the same study, Emperor’s Salt crushed metformin in its ability to reduce cholesterol and triglycerides over the course of three months.
It’s like the ultimate purifier – purging your blood of impurities that can wreak havoc on your health, like sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides, and more!
And because it has zero toxicity of its own, the body can easily absorb it – without causing side effects.
Type 2 diabetics who are using any patent medication like metformin should consider consulting a physician knowledgeable in natural and nutritional medicine and switching to this ancient – and proven – remedy.
Although it’s available in other forms, I recommend taking 500 mg capsules, which you can get at health food stores and compounding pharmacies.
Of course, there are many other natural techniques that can also be used to regulate and even normalise blood sugar in type 2 diabetes – including diet, exercise, vitamins, minerals, and other botanicals.
